Pat Degagne (born in Astorville, Ontario) Singer/Song Writer.
Degagne has performed at clubs and private parties in Northern Ontario since he was fourteen. Opened for CCMA and Juno award winner Brett Kissel, One More Girl and more.
From the beginning of his music career, Degagne performed in cover bands while writing his own original material.
When he moved to Deep River in 1999 he continued to perform as a solo acoustic artist but also played along side a variety of Ottawa Valley bands that influenced his writing style.
In 2004 he met rock & blues guitar player Colin Baird (born in Deep River, Ontario) and started the cover band OFFROAD. The band became a hit from its very first performance and is recognized as one of the top country/rock bands in the Ottawa Valley. As the years went by Degagne and Baird collaborated and developed a strong friendship. The two began co-writing with the hopes of eventually combining Degagne's original material with their fresh new style to create a country album.
In 2014, creating an album became a reallity when producer Brian Hebert (Canadian and Ottawa Valley renowned fiddle player/musician) agreed to produce an album for Degagne. The album, written by Degagne and Baird, titled OFFROAD, was released in july 2014. The combination of Degagne's country influence and Baird's rock & blues background create a hard hitting, original, new country sound.
